so, it still has a Renault DCi engine!!! Watch those turbos Vince, and DO NOT obide by the long service intervals! Thats what killed a lot of the early DCI engines in the Laguna 2... They had 18k service scedule, but the oil would only last about 12k... Fully Synthetic oil too..
All diesel engines in Nissan/Renault are Renault designed (except the V6DCi), and all petrol engines are Nissan designed.
Nissan Sunderland has the design, build and test facility for the new Nissan Leaf and makes all the batteries for it.
Come 2016 there will be a Nissan designed petrol engine in a Daimler/Mercedes car and in return all Nissan (and Renault?) automatic boxes will be built in Mexico under license from Daimler/Mercedes using DM technology.
