Nice 2.1 manual for someone with a trailer

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Hi Bantam

You have a very unusual car there, I have never seen another YBL with an EPIC pump, I assume it wasn't registered in January as all the others I have come across have been. Although I said I didn't want another hatch, if you had been a bit nearer I might have been interested in that.

:D Four of my XM's have had the reg N---YBL registered in Jan '96 and the last 2.1s with a fully mechanical pump and manual gearbox, as such they are a highly desirable car (well to me anyway) Bantams car appears to be the exeption that proves the rule.

Yes as i say in the Ebay ad it caused quite a stir at the show....The engine is in first class condition and pulls like a train (scary really) massive dissapointment i couldn't repair it.

If it was'nt so far away and still cheap enough, I would have had a bash at repairing it. My 'YBL' Estate needs some TLC and quite a bit of welding done on it I feel the need for a spare while working on it, but something might turn up when the time comes.

Hi Bantam

I know there was some post about your suspension fault but can't remember what you actually tried, did you replace the height corrector? I wouldn't have thought there was much to go wrong with the front suspension - but then I don't think much at all now.

I Peter yes i think it is a faulty height corrector as i didd get the car to its normal height using a long lever but that was only once....I then didn't have a spare nor the time to take it any further.

Just want to say a huge thanks to you for all your suport over the last few years and i'd wished i'd met as the Beers werer on me but as you as you know we kept missing each other.

Cheers Peter

What happened Bantam? I was organising a wrecker tonight so that I could try and buy the XM but it disapeared off the Ebay listing. I don't know if I could have made a deal but I was really interested. I really do hope you made a good deal whoever got it.
