XM Vin numbers

Hi!
Hoping to decipher my VIN plate on a newly acquired 1992 XM 4 cylinder 5 speed. And the other codes on the plate

VF7Y3AC0006AC8441
1845
3145
1 - 1020
2 - 825

Vf7 = France, Citroen.
Y3 is Xm, Series-1 body.
AC = Xu10, 2.0 injection, 8 valve engine with manual gearbox, saloon.
0006 = the sixth series run of the AC type.
AC again...Engine/ body type
8441 = Unique serial number of that car.

1845 = Gross vehicle weight
3145 = Gross train weight
1 - 1020 = Max front axle load
2 - 825 = Max rear axle load.

Hi,
I need some help to establish my XM production year because in registration it says that's a 1996 model but it has an Y3 code in VIN number which clearly tells that is before facelift, of course it looks like Y3. I tried decoding VIN online but i get random numbers each time sometimes it's 91, 94 or 90. Also I looked on some interior trim pieces and the produciton year at most examples says 1991 so it confuses me even more.
The subject is XM break with ZPJ V6 engine, VIN number: VF7Y33AW0000AW0239.
I really appreciate any help.

You have an additional 3 after Y.

I don't have a VIN decoder, but it's definitely an early ZPJ estate, as it is number 239 of the first series.

The Rp number on the left front door A pillar will give the production date. What is that number?

I had one result which said it was a 1990, Diesel, Manual, Wagon.

Oh right there is only one 3 after Y, I'll check the RP number and write it here.In some VIN decoders I also got the diesel engine that's why don't took any of the results seriously

Your car left the production line on 23 October 1991.
Search Citroen ORGA number for an online calculator.

The ORGA, or Replacement Parts (RP) number is very important as far as P# revisions go. Any number changes will be connected to an RP number.

The same will apply for your BX break. Both 1.9 TRI Bx estate and V6 Xm estate must be pretty rare as they are both top line versions and Xm were built at a ratio of 10:1 saloon/estate. I would think the vast majority are lower powered petrol engines and diesel/turbo-diesel.
Where were they first sold, Germany?
My understanding is Huliez built all Citroen estate models after the Gsa, so the Bx and Xm came from that factory. I believe this makes them made at the H7 production facility.
Bx and XM saloons were built in Rennes-janais (CJ)

I'm sure you are aware the Bx estate has a saloon/hatchback rear floor, with an extension built on, whereas the Xm does have a complete Huliez rear floor.

Thanks for all the efford decoding these numbers for me, my bx was in fact bought in germany and migrated to Poland, the XM was probably bought in germany too but i don't have any proof I found it grown into bushes one day so there's not much info about him except registration papers. About bx estate i know about floor extension you can clearly see where the extension start because of the trunk cover extension and to top it off my bx has an automatic tramission which i found was really rare top. Anyway I wanted to post my journey threw renovating my xm here on forum so if you are interested it gives me motivation to do it, once again thanks for help
