Aside from the usual tidal wave of marketing BS is it just me or do Ford not seem to be able to pronounce their own car name? is it an Echosport, or is it an Ecosport? Ford's marketing department doesn't seem to be all that sure

Only good bit is the Glencoe setting! Apart from that, totally forgettable.
Yesterday, a couple of hours of watching ITV was punctuated by multiple adverts for family SUVs - all small, all red, all the same, all as attention-grabbing as a shopful of trainers.
Now, put something with the design panache of an XM of today on the screen, and it might just spark some comment.
What was the last mass-production car that did that?

I can't stand these noisy adverts anyway, must be getting old. I echo the comments about Glencoe though.

I try and ignore all adverts. No imagination at all nowadays. Where's the epic car ads from the 80's? Peugeot 405 driving through fire. That's an advert!
It's been annoying me too that Ford one. I hate all of these soft roader SUVs. Horrid things.
Mind you the Cactus is the exception, but they have ruined that now.

I don't do much damage to the tv set by turning it on these days but when I do, I tend to view things that I record first to the settop box. Dexterous use of the remote control can liberate you from all ads.

I presume the name should be Ecosport, as it alludes to ecology. But whatever the proper name, the car is uninspiring and backed up by a meaningless slogan. And, as somebody said, they all look almost the same.

Anyone remember the BX estate ad with a fish tank in the back?

Obviously you are attracted to the sharp edged styling, not the performance.
