PM alerts

Hi All.
I've been sent at least three, maybe four PM's but not being alerted to there arrival as I used to get so don't know I've got one till I get complaints for not answering them. How do I fix it to be alerted on there arrival in my In box? I went looking in my profile, checked my inbox and have now read them so apologies to Dieselman, Citroenesque, Xmexclusive and anyone else who may think I'm an ignorant sod for not answering. Any help to get the alerts back would be appreciated.

check your SPAM bin, incase they are going in there...

You should have a check box in your preferences to tick to alert me for replies or something similar..

Hi Paul.
The box was checked to notify me of new PM's I have now checked the one below for a 'pop up' on PM arrival, I always look into the 'junk' box and delete them so I would see them in there too

I used to get a 'No reply' alert to tell me someone had sent a private mssage, I've never had alerts for any other purpose. I use googlemail for the forum but think I will change my Email address in the forum to Hotmail as it is easier to find the junk or spam. How do I do this Ciaran?

Nothing is more simple then G mail!

Just click the "5 more" tag on the left, and the spam link pops up! Simple!

Hi Bob, Its in the Profile section of the user Control Panel.
Try this link, should take you straight there.

Thanks Ciaran. I've now changed the email address so even if stuff goes into the junk box at least it is easy found as I check, and empty that daily.
