Partly because of research, mostly because of proper top gear withdrawal i have been liking this a lot lately, very interesting video's.
By my guestimates it looks like there is a no power to be gained out of fiddling with the stock headers on the 3.0 engine with the standard cams and valves, its not really possible to fit bigger valves as there is no room but there is bound to be a reasonable gain from an aftermarket cam since the OE setup is a very small lift and duration, the cam lobes look like casting imperfections on a pole they are that small! with a better cam this test would seem to say there is roughly a 5% gain to be had from the headers on a engine that breaths well, maybe. Interesting from watching all the dyno runs that back pressure does not make Torque, it kills it so thats one myth out the window.

Embedded Youtube vid links don't seem to want to work with tablets. It never works with my iPad. But the typed link always does.

Interesting channel that.

Interesting, that explains the MCM guys being in America.
Look forward to that.

I have also got into watching a very small channel of a chap who lives near Stow on the Wold, not far from me. He has basically race prepped a road legal 306 with a very boosted 2.1XUD. But he isn't a chav, not your typical pugeriser!

I have been watching roadkill for a few months now, its pretty enjoyable even if it stems from a different sort of car culture, most of my favourite shows are on youtube now which maybe spells the end of corperate television in the future, bit off topic but it seems a lot of people now watch more youtube style private productions than actual TV, still dont think you can beat a BBC documentary though, David attenborough etc.

It is a bit stupid, its kind of what i would do if i didnt work, and had just won the euro millions, obviously they havent so need to justify and fund the behavour with a show, which is just whatching two blokes be arses so i can see why it may not appeal.

Finnigans channel is good though, a bit rough around the edges but he is a very smart guy.
