1996 2.1td Estate breaking on Ebay

That is unusual, your probably about right there. If you look at my RP numbers you will notice that the '95 hatch has a later number than the '96 red estate.

Mine was first registered 29 Nov 95 but the RP is 6791. I noticed the reg no. N251 XCF is very close to another car pictured on the forum, can't find the picture again though. Kit

I had a rather beat-up 2.5TD car for a year or so before the rust finally won.
N269XCF also registered on 29/11/1995. ORG 6819.

I think NxxxXCF was one of the block registration numbers for 1995.
Not sure if it was a Citroen UK or dealer block number.

I often wonder about people who register their car late in the year as it makes such a big difference to the resale price. Perhaps in this case it was a Citroen dealer boosting his 'sales' figures or some other year end fiddle, sorry, adjustment. In the old days you could see in the log book who the previos owners were, now it costs £5. Kit
