I immediately stop, look under the bonnet to find the hydraulic fluid tank almost totally empty, and there is fluid pissing out from beneath the tank.
Stranded, in Kentish town on single yellow line at 10pm in the evening. Managed to get Insurance cover to tow me to a friends driveway by 1am where luckily the car car rest for a day or two
Does anyone know a good place to hire a trailer from as I need to get the car home to Norwich (108 miles) for repairs ASAP and recovery wanted to charge me 200 quids.
I was parked against a kerb and think I may have accidentally put unnecessary pressure on the Steering and ruptured a hydraulic pipe..... Anyone know how tricky this is to repair? A common fault? Where can I aquire cheap parts?
Can I get the car on an ordinary trailer, or do I need a pick up truck?
Local citroen specialist charge 70 per hour and will not recover. OH DEAR.....
Suggestions?
I would appreciate any advice..
Many thanks
Andy
