Selling off one (or bits

) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Hi All
I too will watch this auction with interest.
Not sure about bidding as it may be new but it is old stock so what are the risks.
How well does it actually work?
I suspect that the bidding may well ignore the above and will go well above my valuation.

Hi Paul, I guess you've checked and found it to be a SERIES 2 unit!
They've listed it as XM 1 and 2..... oh DEAR!! They got something worng!!
Series ONE units ARE NOT compatible with SERIES 2 cars....
AND Peugeot 405? Eg? WTF? NEVER seen one of these in a 405!
JUST to add, Im sure ive got 4 or 5 of the SERIES ONE units in the shed.. THEY DONT GO WRONG....Check it carefully.

Yes Paul, it is the dot matrix for the S2.
Good point John. I don't suppose the dot matrix would have to be in use for the adhesive on the contacts to give up.
I wouldn't like to pay £400+ for one with that in mind..........

There has got to be a fix for these. I fixed a Saab one by placing more pressure on the contacts. Got to be the same issue. Any mobile phone repairers out there got an answer?

FITS IN THE CENTER OF THE DASHBOARD
Not on my XM.
Anyway, this is not a
must have spare. Unless you could source it dirt cheap. They are easy to fix.
