If you drive enough on the motorway you have time to spot things like this. If you see a car in the distance with there brake lights permanently on, it will almost certainly be a 206. it seems to be a recurrent (pardon the electrical pun) problem. I've seen loads of them.

Yes. Also seen a number of late 90s / early 00 Fiestas with a similar problem, the brake lights shimmer and flicker on as the car drives along and hits bumps etc, obviously something loose, but have seen a ton of them doing it.

That, and the Mk1 Meganes with rear indicators and brake lights which operate in unison....

That's probably as they get accidentally knocked as the steering wheel is turned.

Yep, sure are!

These must be on about 5% of all UK Xm's as there weren't that many base spec cars
so I can fully understand shopping in France! I'd imagine in UK currency in a scrappy
they'd be around a tenner each (maybe even the pair) but due to our currency being
a complete joke and worth diddly do's, expect to pay handsomely for them - watch
the cost of the postage - I've had better prices from Germany but there doesn't seem
to be any logic or consistency across France/Germany.
