Not bad. You just need to change the headlights and the wheels for the proper stuff, probably a few other things you've not got right as well
but, in general, a decent effort.  :P

 you will be pleased to know I have retained the required parts to return to stock, apart from the wheels which were sold some years ago.

A few observations from someone who has driven nothing smaller than a Mitsubishi L200 for nearly the last 3 years, Xm's are low and feel wide for what it is, how can there be so much space inside its like a tardis! And it feels properly odd, the passenger door card is about 4 feet away but your brain says there is another 2 feet of car outside of that but there just isnt obviously. Ive had her around 12 years but it feels like a new car to me.

Anyway, still work to do, finishing off stuff now..........................

Tardis-like, certainly. Especially if you park one up next to a high kerb, walk up to it, and realise you almost have a bird's-eye view of the roof! And then the four adults who make up your party get inside, and find acres of space to play with.

And ever tried leaning into one, to open a door (or release the bonnet) on the other side? Forget it - it's a clamber-across-a-seat job just to get there!

Long since given up trying to take a machine's parking ticket from the far side (RHD abroad). Just get out and walk round the front now.

Looking great Dean. The tail blazer looks good on a mandarin.
I too had admirers this afternoon. Probably more to do with why is it so low.

I think Will had some attention too in his blue one.
I was inside pressure washing the years of waxoil, paint and oil off the hard standing and the gate was shut, the wife brought a coffee down so I stopped and heard a group outside. "What is it?", "Its a Citroen" says one of the others, then there was some oooh ing and someone else said "its one of those maseratti ones they made in the 70's or sumint" lol

Considering the tail blazer is a genuine accessory you would of thought they could of got the colour to match the tail light lenses though!

I made some stainless wing clips up today so I need to get the wheel arch liner in and the hub torqued up, then paint the outer cills in fresh stone chip and paint both teardrop roof trims.

Annoyingly a jammed the brakes on today to bleed them but the n/s rear bleed nipple was loose, by the time I worked my way round to it the pads and disc were well oiled as was the inside of the rim :x , should be able to save them with an overnight soak in thinners though, just annoying.

Echo the wierdness, had loads of cars in the past including yank muscle and barges, the XM just feels so different to anything else, that's what i like about it though.

Parked it in my sisters street with other cars Friday night, (my street is void of cars), dumped the suspension down (been doing that while parked), went out in the morning and it looked bonkers sitting there :)

Dean,
I think the tail blazer that Citroen offered could possibly be just one of a basket of car-specific shapes, for various marques, all from the same company. TBs used to be quite popular.
Does it have any identification marking - perhaps Valeo?
