Its been a little while again but there has been progress, a little.

The Trojan has been doing well, it went in for its first service just before Xmas after covering just over 8k and apart from some blow by issues when new, a window coming loose and a squeaky drivers seat she has been working hard and well.
Work has been very busy and keeping me occupied 6 days a week for the last few months but that should start to ease off now to normal levels freeing up some time.
I had another play with the xm boxing day, the empty cooling system was filled with long life antifreeze and bled, the battery with one dead cell that was sitting on the floor connected to the car with ju mp leads as it was left in September actually started the car after some rather SLOW cranking, well impressed with just how well she runs after starting straight up after a 3 year lay up and complete strip down then starting first go on a dead battery in -1c in only its second start in 3years. She has a new air and oil filter and oil change too now.
I've got several meters of different sized fuel hose to replace all the fuel lines but also make up my own lhm return harnesses which will run around the subframe rather than over the gearbox area, just a mod to clean up the engine bay and make maintenance easier.

The white Si is still about and I should have the chance to restart negotiations in a month or two, it would be nice if the rust is as bad as I think it is if not and my xm is done I may do something interesting with it and a certain engine I have acquired that has a red coil cover between the cam boxes..................that's all on that idea for now, one thing at a time!

Hope your all keeping well anyway, have a good new year
