24v wanted

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

This one was up for sale recently.

I think the owner might still have it too.

Failing that, I have a 24v Xantia for sale if you're interested.

Hi guys

Thanks for the 'advert'! :)

GDP, although the car's not for sale as such any more, feel free to come and have a look if it's convenient for you and see what you think - or I can email you pictures, PM me if you'd like me to do that. As mentioned elsewhere, I spent £210 yesterday on 7 replacement/ recharged spheres and intend to keep it nice.

Cheers

Is this one any good on CAR and CLASSIC (if you don't mind lining the pockets of the Trader) :?:

So much for 'Specialists Knowledge'
IIRC these are called the 'Monte Carlo' type Alloy Wheels but as this is a post 1998 manufactured (RP7847 >) XM there actually called 'Ville De Monte Carlo' due to the thinner section thro' the wheel rim/hub and the shorter 42mm stud/bolts (So if your fitting 'Monte Carlo' or 'Etoile' alloys off another XM which don't come with the original stud/bolts make sure you source the correct ones) refer to pages 9,10 &11 (Thumbnails 11,12 &13 respectively) of THIS pdf file :!:
An XM if for life, (Not just for Christmas) !

Hi

Thats quite a price WHM are asking for the W reg 24v. It's about the same as I paid for mine almost 5years ago, although I do appreciate that mine might have been a excellent deal.

At 75K this is getting into "interesting" territory for the auto-adaptive gearboxes unless the oil has been changed.

Nice looking car though.

Not much out there then. Especially as I was trying to avoid silver!

From what I've seen 99% of the 2000 year 24v's were silver.

I was very anti silver until recently. My mum has a very low mileage V6 Xantia in silver and my dad has a silver Range Rover.

Both of which I must admit to being very fond of, they suit the colour.

It sounds daft, but I don't think cars look as big in silver as they do in some colours.

Must be an optical illusion.
