Yes, in all seriousness I am. I am both alcohol and caffeine intolerant

I can drink none of the former and only a tiny amount of the latter which I reserve for one morning coffee which I enjoy immensely!

It could be much worse. I know someone who is allergic to chocolate

That'll slip down a treat. Hate to think about the other end though!

Polishing the car at the mo for the weekend. Bit early I know, but the weather is not looking too great tomorrow and Friday is set up day for the event. The XM is gracing the CCC stand at La Vie en Bleu. And I have knocked together a little 25th anniversary card for the dashboard.... firmly on display to all!

However the roof is starting to peel in places.

so maybe time to save up for a respray at some point. Really the whole car needs doing. But that's expensive!!

Going on what it cost for my Activa Russ it should cost around £100 to do the roof...

No chance of polishing mine before Saturday sadly... I'm out in a bit to put a bandage on the exhaust so I can bring it to Wetherby this Saturday...

Right, cheers Jim for that, I was going to do a cheeky PM to you to see what you paid. Of course it all depends on garages ect, but that sounds quite reasonable.

Best of luck with the bandage. my dad was a firm believer of those back in the days of Audi 80's, Passats and Renault 21s!
Baked bean cans work a treat too.
