Gosh

I know the Captain is a bright dog but I didn't realise he could do magic with spanners too...

Is mineral Diesel oil...15W40 I think it is, okay to use in a 2.1. Just thinking of the turbo is all..... Or is semi synth more sensible?
B&Q are selling Carplan mineral diesel engine oil of this type for £11 for 4.5 litres.

That'll be fine Russ. I use 15W/40 fleet oil in all my cars and change it regularly. I buy it in 20l drums from Costco at a very economic price. I recommend it.
I also bought a job lot of filters off the 'bay one day and now have enough for life!

Nice one Jim! I think we might have a Costco somewhere round here. Although it could be in Bristol. Hmmmmm. Bit far!
Right, I might well use that diesel oil then. You never know, the oil level gauge might kick back into life!
