			As title listing P860 BSB spotted F/S on E-bay as spares/repairs, with a starting price £200 (With lowish miles @ 127k) !
E-bay Seller wrote:Citroen Xm for sale for spares or repair
Failed recent MOT and without the skill to work on it myself it is not viable to repair it. Car has suffered recent damage to front door while parked. Still drive-able. Little towing in its life time and drives smoothly. Astounding fuel economy for such a large car- around 48 MPG on a run. Engine is smooth, full of power and starts reliably. No mechanical issues that I am aware of with engine or gearbox or suspension. Very little upper body corrosion
Failed MOT due to chassis corrosion and worn front bushes.
Good tyres and upholstery is without tears holes or stains.
Starting price is for vehicle only. Collection only - no Tax or MOT -currently sorn
Additional spares which can be sold separately include:
Brand new front bumper from Citroen worth around £250
Two used front fog lamps
Two brand new side lights
Three used rear light units- Tail gate mounted - 2 drivers side- 1 passenger side
1 used drivers side corner rear light
2 used front fog lamps
2 new rear discs
2 used front wings
used front valence

That really is a clean looking motor, but without t&t it's going to be difficult and costly to move it any distance.
The car doesn't put me off - the location does.

Nope, 2.1s for winners, parts more common, more available through other models, no failing oil coolers, no SECOND expensive rad to fail and they DO too, easyer engine to work on...
Ill NEVER be convinced XMX, never.
2.1s also average about 50mpg (in manual form and early cars) where 2.5s do what 39mpg?

Keep up the good work Paul.
Terrible things 2.5's, who could possibly want one.
Pity the dented green one has a reserve.
Now I know just the man to weld and MOT it.
Got the door and wings in matching green from the sedentary 2.1 that I scrapped.

My 2.5 TD's achieve 42mpg to an amazing 58 MPG (Dependant on how driven) but
if you drive them like a hooligan you could get them a tad lower than 40 mpg !
Paul, You've conveniently forgot to mention about the
pile of poo clutch cable's/quadrant failures on the 2.1 TD manuals, also the hard operation of the clutches and not forgetting the baulky gear changes too which are not
'A feature' on the 2.5 TD's !

I take it you mean one of 'Colins' S/S quadrants you bought, however that doesn't prevent the actual cables from breaking !
