I finally managed to get one of the Ottomobile kind, that one has amazing details. For instance, it has the access covers on the bottom of the front bumper where you can replace the indicator and fog light bulbs.

Ottomobile is fantastic for the detail and accuracy. But they are pricy. I would quite like the Xantia Activa and BX GTI, R25 would be cool too. For some reason im not that fussed about the XM.

Considering that I paid double the price... I couldn't get it when it was new (there were lost e-mails when I tried to order back then), I had to source one on the open market.

But being in love usually means expenses, doesn't it?

From the club, they are quite cheap. Unbelievably so, but instantly sell out because all the model shops have bought the stock. Then they double the price don't they. So unfair!

What I like is they choose unusual cars to model, and do it very very well.

Been noticing that the car has been sinking too quickly at the rear recently. In under an hour it's on the bump stops at the rear. So as the weather was so amazing today, I did some citrobics. Topped up the LHM a bit and well it has taken over four hours to fully sink. A result I think. I will unscrew the bleed screw at some point and do a bleed through that too. Anyway, went well today. It much prefers the milder weather.

Also the XM has held up to all that terrible weather. No leaks that I can see. And it is smelling a little fresher inside too. I have absolutely no condensation on the in side of the windows now and the roof lining is bone dry.

It isn't going anywhere near the floods Chris!!! It is good news...I am happy about that. That was really starting to try my patience those pesky leaks.

As of 7pm, it was still sinking...

So did I Mark! I think 5 times in the end, with plenty of waiting for the fluid to flow back into the tank.
