An RP of 4716 or 7 is possible, but if the car was registered here during the same month it must have been shifted very quickly!! Regards, Matthew T.

It must of done. But remember it is a one owner car from new I think, so he must have been quite eager to have one if it was sold in October.

I wish the chaps would join the forum and confirm its history. Did anyone get a look at its log book.

I can confirm that the RP number ended in a 5 - see picture below which I was sent when the car was originally offered a little while ago.

I've also got a picture of the logbook, but don't want to post that up for obvious reasons. What details are folk looking for and I'll see if I can zoom into it...



I'm still a bit annoyed that the guy that originally wanted to move it on never came back to me - I agreed a price but he went incommunicado...!

Still, it's in good hands now...

Good-o. So it's a October 6, 1989 car.

Log book states date of first reg as January 12 1990, though...

I'd love to find out the RP number of that gold 2.0 Carb XM that lives around here, I'll have to go and see him at some point...

Thanks for your help Franklin and Eddie and we got there in the end! The RP 4715 gives a build date of 6th October 1989 and it was indeed a quick turnaround! In Franklin's photo check out those original Citroen Accessorie seat covers and love the cup-holders! With regards, Matthew T.
