Sweet :P 28.3 MPG is not at all bad...

I know from having run a TCT in a Xantia (my Activa) for many years now that on a run and being reasonably feater-footed they can be incredibly good on fuel. I once did 39mpg in one of my Activas...

Your image won't show properly Sam because your img tags are wrong. start with a [img]and%20end%20with%20a[/img]

In other words [img]image%20URL[/img]

I tried to edit it for you, couldn't and then I realised I'm not an admin :( Too used to doing such things over on the FCF where I am.

EDIT: the %20s between the tags are literal spaces... You don't need them in your image URL...

I posted it from my phone, and it didn't work! Fixed now

Made possible by the wheel wobble at 60-70. Goes away over 80, but I'm not made of money, so been doing 50/60 this week so far

Good luck with today's MoT

Remember, it isn't a real XM if it doesn't have at least three advisories.

You don't need to be fabulously wealthy. My local tyre place charged £10 to balance the front wheels, which would be likely to cure your vibration too.

The tyres were part of the problem. Got new t(part worn) tyres on the back now and its better, but I think a good balancing and tracking session is in order next!

That'll do!

Apparently the mot station owners also own a lawnmower shop in town!

Things found were (I live being able to get under the ramps too!)

Exhaust is sitting on the crossmember under the front seats. I couldn't see a hanger anywhere, although the exhaust was red hot so not much poking occured. Is there a hanger somewhere to lift it off the member?

Need a new cover for the LHM pipes to the rear

The passenger front tyre was the wrong size! Was a 65, not a 60. Got that swapped for a good part-worn. The tyre doesnt rub the wheel arch now!

Just got to get tax on monday now!

Exhaust tunnel cross plate has metal hooks either side for thin exhaust oval rubbers.
Centre box should have rear spigots to match.
