Get 2 different ones, so you will have to figure out which one you prefer. Just for the fun of it!
(I've figured it out by now:) )

have done that and realised that I want a 2.1TD manual hatchback with Bosch pump and a 2.1TD manual estate with Bosch pump!
I like the power of the 2.5 but not the spares availability and I like the power of the 2.0TCT and V6s but not the fuel consumption.
Which do you prefer of yours?

Not having owned two XMs at the same time I can't properly comment but I do own two Xantias and I live them both but for different reasons. They are somewhat complementary to each other and serve different roles so I don't really prefer one over the other but prefer driving one or the other depending on mood and journey...

Well guys on the subject of preferences, yes i love the economy of the 2.1 diesel and its got handy torque, but im not a fan of its noisyness. Compared to the Xantia 1.9td anyway....
Although i havent owned one or driven one, i just know that a series 1 v6 would just tick every box for me and for anyone who owns one......what a lucky person you are, and what a special car you own
On the topic of my xm....ITS READY
Im meeting Paul from Paris Autos at 7:30 tomorrow morning and he will give me a lift down to the garage to pick up my baby

I prefer the 2.1td with Lucas Cav pump, though having said that the one with the Bosch pump is a better drive now the accelerator arm can move full travel. The cable connector was seized and hitting the pump body so stopping full range of movement.
The Idle speed is sorted as well now.
