Oh yes...the old filter...cleaned....and the cover are all back in place and sealed.

Sorry to see the filter was holed Russ.. very easy to do though...

Good that the ATF was still red. That is a very good sign and I can't see any harm having come to the 'box through the hole and no magnet...

My TCT had the muckiest ATF you had ever seen in it the first time I changed it and yet the filter and magnet were barely dirty...

Hope Robert gets the new filter to you in time for the X Rally...

Hi Jim, reassuring words. Thanks! Robert said he was going to sort it out this weekend. So fingers crossed it will arrive in time. Otherwise it's the C5. And that has now decided to ping up with low coolant warning. Not my problem though, but am on to it.
