I believe BF Goodrich are also a Michelin, just a slightly down-market budget version. I've used them for years now and have been delighted with them...

I agree Mark I love my Michelins... Energys on the Activa and the back of the Xantia V6

For what it's worth Russ, this is what Wikipeda have to say..
It's generally substantiated by other articles as well...BFGoodrich is an American brand of tires. It is now separated from the Goodrich company and owned by Michelin. Some Michelin tires for auto racing are now branded BFGoodrich to increase brand awareness.

They're not budget in that they're real bargain basement jobs Will... Like Sunteks or similar...
They are still reassuringly expensive, just not as expensive as Michelin...

I realise that, but Michelin tyres usually have a lot more silica in than other brands, which is why they last longer, but still grip well.
