Xantia/XM stuff f/s
Hi,
I have some bits I want shot of pdq as it's taking up space in my 16v and I want her back on the road by May.
If there is any interest in the following, please PM me. Feel free to make sensible offers.
Posting pics is a nightmare as I have to use a proxy server so feel free to ask for photographs, provide your email address and I'll send you pics
Xantia Mk 2
Passenger airbag £5
Steering rack (to suit 2.1 TD) with ram, felxi-coupling and pinion valve inner track rods £20
XM mk 2 2.1 TD Hatch
I have an update on the XM brake calipers. I bought a seal kit when the car was on the road and I replaced the piston seal. I still have the remaining seals of the kit which cost £25, enough to fully recon both calipers.
So I am offering to either include the seal kit with the calipers, total £30 + delivery or I can refurbish them + clean them up for £50 + delivery. That's all new seals and rubber bellows components and bleed nipples. The handbrake mechanism rubber boot will not be replaced (as they didn't come with the kit) but they are in fine condition anyway.
Front struts and Swedish 'Ikea' strut tops £50 the pair
6+2 HP pump £10
Garrett T2 Turbo inc exhaust return elbow, no end float £50
C15/Visa Front brake pads Girling Valeo BNIB £5
C5 Estate Genuine Aluminuim Roof Bars (key needed from ebay = £5) £10

Re: Xantia/XM stuff f/s
Geoff, if those discs and pads really are 288 then I'll have 'em as they're good for my V6 but according to Service Citroen the 2.1TD had 283mm discs...

Are the calipers nice and free, as in not binding, if so the disks, pads and calipers are of interest now.

The pads and discs have been sold sorry Dman. There was nothing to suggest the calipers were binding. I will have a look today for you

Re: Xantia/XM stuff f/s
OK, the pump I have actually came off my 2.1 TD Mk2 Xantia, part number 4007 T7 according to Cit.
The same pump is used on some, but not all, of the 2.1TD XMs:
01
- TURBO DIESEL XUD11ATE AND PRESS PUMP 6+2 + NON-SINKING AND WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING
01
- TURBO DIESEL XUD11ATE AND IMPROVED 6+2 PRESS PUMP AND WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING
01
- TURBO DIESEL XUD11BTE AND PRESS PUMP 6+2 + NON-SINKING AND WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING UNTIL RPO 07706
01
- TURBO DIESEL XUD11BTE AND IMPROVED 6+2 PRESS PUMP AND WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING UNTIL RPO 07706
01
- TURBO DIESEL XUD11BTE AND PRESS PUMP 6+2 + NON-SINKING SINCE RPO 07707
01
- TURBO DIESEL XUD11BTE AND IMPROVED 6+2 PRESS PUMP SINCE RPO 07707
I also have the steering rack supply piping for both cars. The Xantia one is not rusty at all, although there is some flaking of the paint in one area.
The XM pipe split when on the car, but was repaired by a local hydraulics specialist. The car did 2000 miles with this professionally repaired pipe with no issues.
£5 each pipe + delivery
edit: When I say supply piping, it is the part that fits the pump and disappears into the car somewhere.
CORRECTION to the above: The pipe work I have leads from the HP pump to the pressure regulator.£5 + p&p

pump to pressure regulator pipe
Interesting to note this is 6.35mm pipe=1/4inch pipe and so can be mended with imperial fittings. Any decent hydraulics specialist will be able to repair as this one has been done. The flexible section may actually prove to be an improvement preventing fatigue???? Is failure of this pipe common?
