Off topic chat about anything you like. Doesn't have to be about XMs (though they will inevitibly come up!). You can even discuss non-Citroens :o in here!

The Y2K SM style concept car looks great.

The C5 Exclusive that I drove was in a fetching champagne colour. Not as bright and gold as the XMs were, more of an Ivory colour.

You can get your C5 in any colour they offer, granted the selcetion is poor, but there is a red, blue, ivory, and white before you get into the spectrum of silver to black.

I have planned for the future and intend it to be 2.5 XM's.

I'm intending to stick with with the arrangement of Xantia for the winter and XM for the warmer months for a few years. Maybe if I start feeling rich or the summers start getting too hot I may have the Xantia on the road all year around for it's air con. I need to start thinking about getting a stock of relevant spares that are likely to get hard to come by too.

I'm doing about 700 miles a week now. I'll be running the 2.5 Estate I have into the ground, I hope to get 4 years out of it if it hasn't rotted away before then. I don't know if I could go back to the back to the 2.1 TD Auto reserve car once this estate is a goner.

By the time I'm ready to move away from Xms, the C5 III Exclusives should hopefully be in my usual price bracket.

I could fancy one of those, especially with less grille and more lights.

I think it was DH who said that the new C5 is a better riding car than the C6. Citroen released updates for the C6 but he said it still wasn't right. I have no proof this is the case though.

I haven't had the pleasure of driving a C6 on local roads that I know well, but had no complaints of its suspension of any of them that I drove. Certainly the C5 is every bit as nice as I remembered the C6s to be.
