You don't too often get suspension problems with C5s, as they are a bit more simple in that area and have much less pipework. However if the pump goes it will cause it to eventually go into low. Ive driven one without a working pump and it stayed near normal ride height for my 20 mile journey, I would be worried about using the car for longer as it will start to lower.

Pumps ar enot a common failure and easy to get hold of should you need to.

The other handy thing with the electric pumped C5 is that the pump will whirr when you use the remote locking plip, and the car is at proper height/pressure when you are ready to take off.

So there's some hope here for the re-appearance of Citroen get-aways, otherwise perfect for lugging the bullion...
