sadly, due to reasons not fully explained here, I have had to abandon this project...

Fortunately it has already been spoken for as an ongoing project. At least I'll be able to see it happen...

You've sold your Xantia Mk.1 V6 too!!!???

Im after a V6 Mk.1 well, or 2 for a customer... Mines not really tidy enough to sell to him really..

Yes, to my lifelong friend who I've known since I was a lad and both honorary members of each others' families' so hardly really sold, more rehomed to a very keen new home where she's as well loved as she was with me.

I see Old V6 every day and will continue to maintain her.

Sold is not the right word...

On the subject of V6s, lexi's was available and now Sid the Squid is flogging his again. he's asking £350. It needs a tad of work but really it's a bargain. You don't mind doing a heater matrix do you

Do i the necessary and at least double your money I'd have thought...

My old 2.1TD Estate owned now by Sid the Squid's dad is still on the market with a duff EPIC. get it for a song and turn a nice profit. Again, a fundamentally very good car Paul...

Very sorry to hear that you are not able to continue the project Jim, especially after seeing her on your driveway during my recent visit. I am nevertheless glad the car is to be saved and hope you might still be the proud owner of another XM V6 one day!! On a related subject, I have just started to pull the engine out of my Gold 1990 12v for head gasket work, on which I might well put up a post. All the best, Matthew T.
