Where can I get a rear ABS sensor for 2.5

I need a rear ABS sensor for my 2.5

Anyone know if they still sell them, Euro car parts do the front ones but not the rear, can't seem to find any anywhere.

Even a working second hand one would do.

Bendix or Teves?

Front and rear sensors on the xms are all the same at the wheel... In other words a front sensor will fit a rear arm mounting... The only difference will be the length of the sensor cable and positioning of the grommets etc...

I didn't know that either. if I bought one could it be modified? The work would be carried out by CMS Citroen in Bexhill, nice guy and seems to know what hes talking about.

I found some sensors on the dutch & german ebay sites, but when I emailed asking if it was for front or rear he just directed me to his website which is in german.

Not what you want.
ATE is the trade marking on Teves sensors.
These are only suitable for Mk2 cars made after ORGA 6741.
These sensors are still available and are much cheaper than the Bendix ones, much more reliable also in my experience.

Must agree with the reliability part... They seemed ok on xantia.. They either worked or didnt.. Xantias didnt seem to work one day and not the.next... Head down in shame.. The tevis system is better.. And more popular due to xantia s1 cars..

ebay item 160644459020.
Photo poor but looks to be a Bendix rear sensor by the Cit part number.
Cannot see the plug colour but should be Green (Bendix) and the sensor marked Siemens.
The later Teves sensors have Blue plugs and are marked ATE.
