Hi,
I've just picked up my XM that I bought on eBay a few weeks ago. It's a 1993 2.0 SEi Turbo. Sadly I don't have a manual for it so may well be back to find out what some of the buttons do!

It should be accurate enough apart from the lights and heater control, as yours will have the later push button heater controls.
Is yours the white L reg one? Is it on the road, if so, shame you missed the Citroen rally.

Thanks for the info - I'll look that one up. Mine is a maroon one that was on ebay about a month ago (took a long time for the seller to MOT and service it). Would have been nice to have it a week earlier so I could have done the rally but will be there next year.

I recall the listing, it looks a very nice example of a Series-1 Xm.
The maroon is Mandarin Nacre, paint code EJV. In dull conditions it may be known as Doom Maroon...but in full sun it comes alive. It was the only pearlescent paint in the range at that time.
The paint code is under the wiring loom, behind the left headlamp, in front of the air filter.
The number on the left door A post is the Rp number, which is code for the date of manufacture and is important for technical information and especially for parts. It's called the ORGA number, a search will give online deciphers.
There are more rallies. Keep those wheels turning.

Wow, thanks for the paint code - I'll make a not of it. Fortunately it's quite shiny so will try and keep it that way! Also will find out the Rp/ORGA number.
It does seem a nice one - he'd put a new battery and alternator on it which aded to the delay in picking it up. I drove it 110 miles home, the last bit in heavy motorway traffic, and was pleased to see no signs of overheating.
