FOR SALE- My dad's beloved XM

Hi there folks, My name is Kat.

I'm looking to sell my late dad's beloved Citroen XM.

It is currently sat on the driveway not being used so I am looking to sell it on to someone who is enthusiastic about these cars and thought this would be a good place to start! Any advice on where I could look to sell it would also be much appreciated

I have spoke to his regular Citroen specialist that he used to take it to who says it is quite rare so hopefully someone would like to buy it as a project.

What I know about the car-

2.5 Litre Engine
Silver
Reg number M71 EKV
Mileage 84,607 miles at last MOT

I was on his insurance and driving it when he was in hospital and can say it drives beautifully. It glides down the motorway It is a bit smoky on start up but not when running. It was MOT'd up to April this year as he was too ill to drive it by then. Before this it was regularly serviced and has high quality oil in it. I don't think the radio works. Someone vandalised a headlight so that would need replacing.

With regards to price I'm open to offers, mostly I just want it to go to a good home. I am in Devon by the way.

Thank you for signing up, and I hope it helps find a buyer for the car, which sounds as if it has been well looked after.
If you can, could your photos include interior and engine compartment?
Silver and 2.5TD is an unusual combination, so should hopefully raise some interest.

Must apologise in advance for a forum difficulty with photos. Easy to post one photo into a post, but multiples (at the moment) are a bit of a problem. If you've got three photos, just do three posts!

Hit Attachments
Hit Add Files
Select your photo and Open it
Hit Place in Line
Hit Preview (if you want to see what it looks like)
Hit Submit

My friend have 1997 S2 2.5 TD Exclusive which is silver.

KatTowers...i would advice you to keep the car since they become rare how years goes by.
Most of them in good and driveable condition are owned by enthusiasts like we are.

Their price is climbing up from year to year and good examples are pretty hard to find.

Thanks also for the advice about keeping the car due to its rarity but I have no where to keep it and will definitely want to pass it on to someone who will be able to enjoy it or use it!

Hi Kat,
Yes, do that - the link will be fine.
The forum only accepts attached photo images up to a certain size, so if you run your photos through Paint (or something similar) and reduce them in size to 50% or even 25%, they'll look fine here.
