Hi all, update time (well, can u call an update things that happenned...last year

)

* This is to flush it, I'm passing it to semi-synth in 1-2k.
**only 3 glowplugs replaced as 4rth is siezed. Shame, however is starts up no problem with 3.
Hydraulics:
At 80,600 I have added about 400ml Hydronet2000 and 500ml Hydraflush to -mostly- old LHM, but I will talk about the hydraulics in a future post.
Tyres:
At 80,770 I have put 4 new
Michelin Energy Saver in 195/65 R15 91T.
Bought £244 (£61 each) at mytyres.com, very happy with them tyres.
Things to do immediately next:
-new air filter
-lubricate all height control linkages
-attach or replace 1 loose cv boot
-new thermostat (although current one works perfect, so maybe forget about this one)
-check spare tyre
-tracking
-put mudflaps I bought and wash thoroughy underneath -salt-!!
Car is now at 81,500 and all is fine, I'm thoroughly happy with it. Still discovering the car -I think I still have never floored the accelerator...taking it easy! Always careful to wait a minute idling before switching off. It didn't miss a beat in the cold weather, albeit it only caught the end of the tail....it started up normally after 18 days of resting outside when I came back from holiday -it has a VARTA battery which apparently was brand new before car was left to sit for the next...5 years!!
cheers
G
