No, I was looking to see if the barn could be rented cheaply for the existing projects.

Re: 3.0 V6-24 Project
Only a bit of progress tonight...a first stage clean to:
A. be able to see what I've got to do and
B. get into the car without getting filthy, tangled in cobwebs and fearing that something in there was going to eat me alive.
It was minging...!
First job was to try to close the front windows. Connect battery, turn key, press buttons....nothing...not a peep. Tried the rear windowws in the UP direction and heard the motors try to move, so they are OK. The fronts...I suspect the motors have gone after years of rain getting to them.
I got them closed by clapping my hands on bolth sides of the glass while lifting. it worked.
A few after pictures. I went a bit mad with the jet wash on the outside and door shuts and the interior needs to dry out a bit now.
Headling.
Windscreen side trim, after scrubbing with a brush and vacuuming.
Tailgate is toast and the light unit metal support area is damaged.
First time I've seen this.
Dont' you just love towbar manufacturers and fitting companies.
After a bit (well quite a lot) of vacuuming, we have a car that is safe to enter.
Look how the sun has bleached the carpet.
In this footwell there were ten, or more, burrned out fuses, so possibly interesting times ahead. I can see the radio loom has been butchered, as well as the DIN socket area of the console.
The engine bay and bonnet lining after brushing out the bulk dirt, vacuuming then jet washing.
I've even given it a spray of fly killer inside to deal with the cobweb makers adn trail leavers, that are in there.
Next episode is to work on the non-starting issue.

Re: 3.0 V6-24 Project
It was good to hear that you do plan to restore rather than reshell the car Will and how are the sills and underside? As may be recalled, I have a similar project with my 1992 12v auto, which stood for 8 years in a garage compound and there are a few holes in the sills and two pipes needed repair. I still think you are quite a brave man! Regards, Matthew T.
