Agreed Will. There was a post on here about how to do it - someone point me in the right direction.

Oooerrr Neil.. Care But your a clever bloke.

FIRSTLY! MOST IMPORTANTLY you need a GOOD set of ramps!!

Get the front up on the ramps.. then put the car on the lowest. BE SURE you be safe under the car when its on the ramps and your under there so if she comes down... you be SAFE..

Have the car running and on normal height setting.. Slide yourself under the car equipt with an 11mm Socket and ratchet and extension..

Locate the anti roll bar running along the back of the subframe, on it theres a metal Clamp with a ROD attached to it or near it.. I THINK its near the middle of the bar.. You need to undo the clamp nut and rotate the clamp SLIGHTLY! one way and wait. Im not 100% sure which way make the car go up or down. If your adjustment one way for example makes her go down then obviosuly rotate the other way..

Remember to give her a few moments to adjust the height after each clamp movement...

I believe it is Neil, right place right time on that one. Too much white though...I like them with black trim.

So that's how you adjust the ride height. Scary!

That is the car that Richard saved from scrap. It was a Cat-C write off due to reversing into a post. He bought a lamp cluster and bumper at CXM, just needs a spoiler now and some paint.

To set the ride height the easiest way is to loosen the clamp then manually operate the height corrector with a socket extension, when correct tighten the clamp.

How about a pit? Got to be easier. ;)

I'll have a crack at that then I can have a real good look at the rear subframe, wheel carrier etc at the same time.

Either Neil. The point was to be sure that any accidental LOWERING of the suspension will not harm you at all!

XMs are rather heavy things to rest on yur chest... ;)
