That's a bit of chemistry that either I didn't know about or have forgotten, very interesting.

I remove my broken bolts/studs by welding a nut on the end, even it it broken off flush, providing you can keep the nut in position you can weld it, the application of heat plus the extra purchase you can get on the nut works a treat, every time for me.
