I'm emailing an enquiry to them. Hope i'm not stepping on anyone's toes? It doesn't have to be there but it would be worth considering as an option if they have a date available.

After visiting the website it certainly does seem an attractive venue Tim and the fact that they actually cater for car clubs as well! I must admit I have been a bit of a plane buff in the past and was also an air cadet! The location is certainly good and central quite near Birmingham and accessible too. Are you happy to send an enquiry and check availability of dates as you made the suggestion or shall I do so? With regards, Matthew T.

That sounds a great idea, Well done Tim. :D

It seems proud to spread itself thinly amongst its constituent parts, but not to spread evenly. Maybe because the XM and Xantia are at the younger end of the Citroen dynasty their members choose to do as young 'uns do - and go their own way. Forums like this exacerbate that point and, I feel, may become more reliant on themselves than on the need of a club to provide the glue.
Might be right there Neil. ;)

End of september would be PERFECT!
That is good news Paul and I agree later in the month does appeal and it will also slightly extend the rally season! Is there any reason why we cannot make it two days for those who cannot manage one or the other and people can find their own accommodation nearby if required? Regards, Matthew T.

That is great news Tim and I suggest we go for 21-22nd September as Russ and Paul can make it then. In response to Neil, the website page on the link provided suggests there is only the cost of the car parking at £3.50 plus museum entrance is free, although accommodation will obviously have to be arranged elsewhere. If think LH was £5.00 per day but with free camping. Regards, Matthew T.
