Hydraulic Connector needed for mot

I am replacing the 4.5mm steel pipe which feeds the rear brakes - failed mot on corrossion. It connects to a two way connector under the passenger footwell. The joint here was a serious struggle to get apart and in the process the connector was damaged. I think it is only on XM II's. Can anyone provide me with a replacement of a parts car?

Can you provide a picture???

, Ive recently got rid of 2 Citroens, BUT dropped BOTH subframes off the cars to retrive ALL bits, so could VERY well have one for you...

Hi Paul, any of those two were XM estate subframes and with Bendix sensor holes in the swing arm? I'm still trying to find out why mine has loud noise at the rear on pot holes.

Assich,
Ive had a look at the front subframe, and cannot see your connertor on it.. What does it do, does it Litterally just joint together two 4mm unions ?? or are the unions on the ends of pipes with flares?? I cant picture how its setup from your picture.

Hi bob, sorry they werent, and if ther were bendix equip, id be keeping them anyaway..
sorry

Yes it literally joins two 4.5mm pipes together with the citroen style tube seal. It sits under the passenger footwell rather than on the subframe.

Theres a bunch of these on Xantias, at the rear, below the LHM tank, on the bulkhead, that goto the Brake Doser valve, Im sure I can find one of them no doubt, I removed a few of these not so long ago, and used one on a Xantia to join two 4.5's together..

Thanks sounds good. I looked at the Xantia's on the parts diagram because I thought I had a chance of finding one in the few scrappies round these parts. The connector you describe is listes as a one part bracket with what looks like the straight connectors on it. Does that mean the straight connectors are attached to the bracket somehow?

The Xantia bulkhead bracket has 5 joints stitched by weld in a row on a bar and ARE 3.5mm NOT 4.5mm!!
Is this 4.5mm double female joint for the anti sink as I can't picture any other 4.5mm on the back?
