Hi, I may have one, but it comes from a Citroen Mk2 2CT. I happen to go to Texas from the UK this weekend and could take it with me and post within the USA. Would that be an option. Of course, there is no possibility to send back if it doesn't fit. Do you (or someone on the forum) happen to have a picture? We will also search and hopefully be able to post a picture tomorrow evening.

Worth a shot - I just checked the parts book for the series 2 cars. So long as the car in question had/has a catalectic convertor the parts books have the same number. Am in California and replacing that bloody fill pipe will get me from having to take the car every two years to a State Smog referee as I have a parts exemption for the fill pipe.

For clarity, I understand we are referencing the main fuel filler pipe, Item No 1 in the diagram.

There are two types, catalyst with reducer, or all others. Any UK petrol Xm post 1992 will have the catalyst/unleaded/reducer type, which I believe is what is required.

Yes, with catalyst. The parts book for the first series cars is not specific, just there were two different units one with and one without the reducer. The parts book for the second series cars is specific as to which is which. Thanks for the clarification, the unit should fit with no problem.

Thanks Dieselman, I do have part 1 in the picture. Is that what you are after indeed? I will send later today a picture. Just back home from work.

That hand delivery on a direct direct flight to Texas might be quite a shipping charge.
