Just testing the waters. I have been contacted by an elderly gentleman who has an early (G?) 2.0 carb car for sale.
No details as yet but it smokes on start up so probably needs valve stem seals plus exhaust manifold and replacement exhaust system. Also needs tyres all round
Bodywork described as OK but no other details.
No MoT so would need transport from Surrey.

A carb model.. wow.. that needs rescuing.. whats the chances it also hasn't got hydractive either...

All Uk Xm had hydractive.
