Nibble is in work today, RNM having been retired till next Tuesday for new front brake pads and an MoT - will it pass or fail? Saturday will partly be spent on a run round and basic check of everything from lights to suspension, exhaust and tyres (which are all OK)
Tonight, having dragged the aftermarket floor mat out of the car, I am going to trim it on the driver's side as it goes under the accelerator pedal and stops its travel for the last quarter of an inch or so. If I pull it back, then the other side catches on the clutch pedal as I change gear - which is marginally less annoying than the power loss caused by the mat under the pedal.
Scissors are the answer and Nibble is a tad faster today. I like free fixes.

fail or pass, it's too late to worry about it - RNM has been dropped off at the garage. Will find out tomorrow. This time I am testing out the local lot in Ruardean.

but the brake pads they fitted sorted that out!
Emissions way down on last year - 0.36 with a pass limit of 3.0!
Advisory on leak on hydraulics - but I knew about that and last time couldn't find it despite a steam clean underneath.
£149 inc MoT, pads front and back plus the dreaded VAT.
Then another £140 taxing it and the scooter.

Are you sure the emissions reading is against the 3.0 limit, not 1.5?

Yep you're right. The limit is 3.0 and the test pass is 1.5. 0.36 is not bad and I blame the better combustion and cleaner burn of veg. They only did the one run.
