CXM Rally 2010

Yeah, I saw it last year (was it there the year before?) Its a very, very nice CX. A superb example, certainly for me to aspire to with my CX. If I can get mine looking as good when I get round to repainting it I will be doing well! Also a vary rare series 1 car.

It was there last year (along with 3 others!), but not in 2008...we blasted down in the, rather original looking, Maikonics CX before it had the morrettes or the leather.
It did attend the 2007 meet, but in 2006 we were in an old nail of a Familiale! Superbly comfortable seats though (had the early blue Pallas type)

It attended 2007 and 2008 National, along with many others...but only the Maikonics for 2009 and the C6 for 2010!

Thanks for the comments on CGOO Robert, unfortunately not many people like the non-moulding look...but I personally think it gives it a much cleaner look.
The most said comment on CGOO at the CXM last year was about the mouldings (or lack of)!

I saw CGOO on the cover of the citronian and i must say i thought it looked very nice indeed.

This CXM thing is coming around damn quick, if i dont get my finger out im not going to have a car to go in!!!!
I hear on FCF that there is a special surprise this year? would go right over my head as ive never been before so have no idea what to expect but it sounds interesting none the less.

Hi Folks,

With the CXM rally fast approaching a plea for input from XM owners has been made on the CCC forum.

Dear XMers,

With the the CXM rally nearly upon us we are still seeking volunteers to help out over the weekend. We are only a small committee and there is lots to do! Currently there is no-one from the XM world on the committee and as a result your needs are being under-represented. All volunteers please step forward.

We especially need people to help with the gate and to sell raffle tickets/collect monies for the Saturday evening meal.

We also need a couple of learned volunteers to do some technical presentations. As a non XM owner I have no real clue as to XM issues but I am sure you guys do! It would be great to have some technical stuff on XMs rather than the current CX domination!

Me John, or Andrew... we seem to have the most of them amoung us..

My last count, 7 all S1 and S1.5 cars.. I guess John xmexeclusive would be our resident S2 man...
