Well, if Paul has used the Halfords ETW and found it correct then Roma Locuta est, Causa finita est. It's only the size of a 10p piece and anything is better than bare bonnet.

The silver tape works well on the small bit at the front. I am a bit daunted by the door sections but nothing ventured.

I like the engine stickers, so yes please!

As to the engine, I'm sure someone knowledgeable will explain. Perhaps manual vs diesel, although heaven knows why!

I'll crack on with some this coming week. I spent Friday shifting antiques in cold pouring rain and got totally soaked, so cold water had no appeal today.

I got together a load of parts for a Columbian Xantia Owner, but when it came to send it over, he backed out of my price!!

My box is still here, or more so, his box is still here!

After packing them up, sprinkle the boxes with icing sugar...

Might just do that!

Bought some Hammerite and did the front spheres (they were pretty grubby and had surface corrosion I'd treated with Kurust). Not the best paint job but better than they were before!

Typical - the ETW paint I got from Halfords is too light, evidently a very different shade to the one Paul successfully used, so I've ordered the proper colour off the internet. If anyone wants a barely used tin of Meteor Gray, shout!
