Yea, when I got the car initially, I immidieatly thought so far so good, shes an SD, she is a GOOD colour I can live with, but heart sank when there was no ABS fitted..

Charles, I'm intrigued... How come your Range Rover Classic is wearing a V plate? (I'm a Range Rover buff as well as Citroen's!)

David - it was manufactured and then retained by Land Rover for 4 years before being registered. Judging by the bodywork, I think they must have used it as their salt water test vehicle! It could be superb, the 300tdi diesel engine (with Bosch pump) is a gem, but I am having a fight with the supplying dealer as to their responsibility for paying for the necessary remedial work. Anyway, it is going to become my machine polish test vehicle!

Ahh! I thought it might of been late registered.

The classics were bad for corrosion. Especially around the tailgates. We have had two Classic RR's. A 3.5 and a 3.9. Always hankered after a Soft Dash LSE but never found a good one. Have got a couple of 4.6 P38's at the moment. It's amazing the difference between them and the Classic. If you ever spot a good Classic then let me know

Am eyeing this one up at the moment mainly because it's got the Warwick Brooks Handling Pack and a Supercharger

Well, great reaction on the Mercedes 190 forum and MBClub - someone in the former asked what you used on the chrome, while a NW member at the latter has asked for your details!

No daytime XM photos Yet Charles, or you in the process of dooing them and Im TOO eager!

I had a long drive today so the car is pretty mucky. You might be waiting a little while until I have a chance to clean her Paul! She is a working car after all.
