Hi All

Have been doing a bit more research on the Pug 605 ABS.
It seems that the Pug 605 was fitted with Bendix ABS up until the 1995 MY.
It then cut over to the Bosch 2SE system for the remainder of production.
The front hub appears to use the same casting as the XM.
Driveshaft ring is the same.
Brake caliper same type and size except no parking brake.
Do not try using 605 front brake pads on an XM as while they physically fit there are no rear pips for the parking brake.
Not yet got the detail sorted for the rear brakes.
Very different from the XM as the caliper incorporates the handbrake.
But at least I now know that there is a Bosch front sensor that is a perfect dimensional fit for the XM.
A few checks with ebay suppliers show that virtually none of them know which 605 system their sensors are for.
Will update this saga as it unfolds.

This is very good research indeed. Thanks for looking into this for us. I wonder if the part numbers for the Bendix ABS are the same as for the XM.

Wow, for a Tevis.. Ive seen same Xantia ones for a bit less then that.. And I thought the Bendix ones were expensive... oh no, no available now.. thats right..
