At upwards of £4k per (elusive) set, I'll pass!

Back to the XM. Cleaned the grey and the black one today (the latter is being used to go to my Aunt's funeral this week, so has to look good). My polisher is proving hopeless so I did one side of the grey one only, having given it a good clean.



All the black stuff done internally - I love the S1 XM dash - and looking good (great tip Will and Vince on the Meguiars).



Rear seats looking really clean after using Brisk Extra on the rear.



Front seats and carpet still to be done, but with all the things going on this week, I won't get round to these before Thursday when I wave good-bye to family.



(my SD card reader for my Nikon has packed up, cheap and nasty bit of kit that lasted 10 uses so the picture quality isn't that wonderful using the iPhone)

The inside is coming up well, but the paint finish could really be gleaming, in hands more skilled than mine. I shall win, the final word of Nessun Dorma, Vincero!

Go over the paintwork with some cutting compound and a machine polisher.Should look like new afterwards.

Cometh the new year cometh the man, with luck Vince will be down to do both my XMs. Then they will be done properly and competently, give me a tool and I will do some serious damage.

That one looks loads better than my Cobalt one already. Vince would get that looking like new...or better.
