Sorry guys, I haven't been able to get up today which really bummed me out as Ive been planning to attend for some time. Problem is having to visit my brother in Nottingham this month from his accident has doubled our fuel bill leaving us with not enough left for me to drive to Ripon and back for a show

Was nice to see the BX/XM lot getting in early this morning. Though perhaps our cars looked a bit samey.

Great to meet folk this weekend though, especially Matthew and his lovely V6 Series 1. Has confirmed that mine really needs spheres! I would have stayed longer today, but really needed to get back to wildest Wales.

It was good to see a few of the usual crowd last weekend and also to meet new faces including Ian S. who seemed to enjoy his spin in my S1 V6!! There was a well deserved prize for David H. with his V6 Xantia Activa as best modified car and I was chuffed to win best working car - some of the others started and ran as well!! I clocked up over 680 miles including site visits in North Yorkshire. The numbers of 2CV in attendance for the combined GB Club meet was impressive and one particular highlight for me was a photo-shoot with Neil's gold 2.0si! I think it's a standard 602. Body is modified in the style of Dagonet specials built in France.

Many thanks Chris and I believe the red 2CV was fitted with a BMW 1100cc motorcycle engine!! Here are a few more photos including the champagne duo. With regards, Matthew T.

Mathew.. it wasnt that red modified 2cv with a bmw motorbike engine it was a matt black slightly sctuffyer looking one that had the motorbike engine as i heard it driving round the field and no way it sounded like a 2 pot engine.

Correct, but the black one uses a BMW flat-twin bike engine - producing about 100bhp. There was a green/cream van there also BMW powered.
