Bit of a long shot Will but was your grandads TZD BX a 1.7td hatch in green on a K plate by any chance?

Hi, no it was actually a grey one H???FLP if I recall. The number plates thing is a bit like when I had my w116 merc - you see another one on the road and there's a good chance its being driven by a forum member!
