I don't get it .......... You guys want to make your XM lights even worst than the factory managed

I'll be putting relays and 110watt globes into them rather than decreasing light output with yellow globes. I can however understand wanting to put yellow in the fog lights

Ah but Shane its mainly Vince and his ridiculously clean xantia with the yellows!
I have gone the other way to HID's on the dipped, when the rest of the car is fixed ill do the main beams as well!

Main beams is overkill I think. I have HID on the dipped on 2 of my Xms, and it plenty good enough on full beam. Also the HID is too slow to react when you want to flash your lights at someone.

I agree with Robert, HID on main beams is overkill; but on a deserted road at 2am they are fantabulous!

Some of the Chinese suppliers can provide 3000k HID's at a premium cost.
That is about as yellow as HID's get.
The 4300k is called Golden Yellow but is white with a yellow tinge.
This and 6000k (pure white) are the colours that are normally supplied to the car industry.
Most HID kits with readable instructions caution against using them for headlight flashing.
Seems that you need good quality electronics in the ballasts for this.
