 ..Vince I will get some pics of them tomorrow for you.

One thing I will say, is if your trims are smooth, as in no bumpy bits from corrosion, then it should work well. But you won't be able to do the bumpers. It just won't go round them and it is not wide enough for the corners.

So far they have survived two car washes and a lot of heavy rain and they haven't peeled off yet. :)

Just to mention also, above I said I had some damp headlining under the drivers sun visor. We have had rain since then here, and no sign of damp, and it is all dried out. So it had to have been the overwhelming amount of water on Saturday evening. Probably overflowed the drains.
I'm going to look at the Aerial seal too just incase. Otherwise, it might be the beginnings as Will has mentioned, of the sunroof seal going.
I'm not going there yet!!

Well I took the car for a drive today, and well I think I have found the kickdown cable sweet spot. So I am not going to fiddle any more and live with it. ;) all I can say is that it kicks down and accelerates well. But it was unloaded!
So I am leaving that little saga for now. Fed up with it!!

Next issue...groan.....now found where the water is coming from. I found that the drivers side headlining behind the sun visor damp on Sunday, after the heavy rain on Saturday. Well at this very moment rain water is seeping in..it has tracked along it and towards the A pillar. So it is getting in on the front right hand corner of the sunroof. So I'm going to investigate this tomorrow and see what is going on.
It only seems to do it when it rains heavily like Saturday evening, or like it is doing now. So this might explain the strange damp but not damp carpet I keep finding.
What ever it is... It needs to be nipped in the bud. ;) not having that reeking havoc.

Busy day tomorrow. :D

Yep... it certainly does. I cleaned mine with water and washing up liquid first to get rid of the nut oil I had been rubbing into them. Then used some clutch and brake cleaner to really degrease. Then on it went.

I was quite surprised by the reactions at the weekend.

I didn't have a look at it, but it looks OK there.

There was a nice H van at CXM on Sunday.
