I have done the very same myself with a fellow Citroen friend. Sat in the back with a cuppa. Why not!!

It's a novelty for me, as I never really sit in the back!

ha might meet you on the ferry home as I am leaving the Emerald Isle soon. Trying to find some good weather. Unfortunately the place we are going to in France, had snow yesterday. Not joking:( But the forecast is good. Next time our house will be open for any xm drivers :)

Having sat in the back David Hallworth's V6 for a run out at Wetherby, I can testify to the the pleasant experience. Except when vacuuming etc I have never had cause to sit in the back of any my XMs.

Enjoy your trip away, Vince. My only experience of Ireland was thirty years ago when I took my Great Dane to a dog show in Belfast via ferry and service bus. It was an experience...

And I've never been to Ireland at all  Somewhere one day I'd like to but sadly I can't see it happening :(

I've sat in the back of my XM - it's like being in a drawing room. More comfy that my house!!!

Never been in the back of a moving XM though...

I was amazed at the space. Even with the front seat back fully I could stretch my legs. Makes being chauffeured around seem an option. 8-)

We slept in the front seats waiting for a ferry. It was very comfortable and we had a good sleep...only woken by the attendant knocking on the window.

Well guys im back from the emerald isle....and oh what a beautiful place it is too :) Its so idyllic, and the roads are like something you'd find in heaven....open, sweeping, empty! with few speed cameras or traffic cops....I was in my happy place over there.

We stayed in Clemontagh castle I think it was called in Kilkenny....but its a long story with some pictures and some French cars thrown in so ill post up some details tomorrow of our "Ireland adventures" :P
