I should of guessed! I do like their square angular styling and the interiors are really modern too. I saw my first Tagora at the NEC a few years ago. I was quite impressed! :D

I could quite easily end up with quite an eclectic car collection if I'm not careful. Fortunately most of this oddities are rare as!

If you like the Tagora go to this link here
http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/Community/ ... emId=15669
which is a discussion I started on the topic.
And this was started in response:

with some thoughtful comments.

I've seen one Tagora in my entire life and that was only because our neighbour, a mechanic, had one. Even in 1990 with my much less educated critical faculty, I thought it of limited merit. I simply could not find a reason or justification for the design. Not unlike the C5 Mk1 the car seemed to have no underlying conceit or high concept. The Safrane is nearly in this class but if you squint you can detect a hint of R25 in there, a hint.

I have updated mine too Paul. there are still more I'm sure.
not got the 70's book. might have to now!!!

cheers for the sinker offer. but I have been offered another one too. We'll see!

Casalingua....mk1 C5... It might not be a looker, but they are very good cars. It's one that until you own one, you only then realise how good they are. Not the best by any means, but they are good. It kept my Mum mobile and independent for longer than any other car could have done.

Dream garage:
Museum standard XM V6 Si with Diravi and no wood inside it
1979 Peugeot 604 with EFI, tan leather interior and black hard trim
Bristol 400 series
1979 Citroen CX Pallas
1990 Buick Riviera
1988 Cadillac coupe de ville
1968 Lancia Flavia saloon
1965 Lancia Fulvia saloon
1995 Lancia Kappa coupe 2 litre turbo
1982 Lancia Trevi 2.0 manual
1986 Renault 25 LWB 3.0 V6
1994 Bentley Continental
1975 Bentley T-type
1990 Daimler Sovereign V12

These are what pop into my head without too much reflection. I don't want pretend I have immaculate good taste by trawling for obscure cars. I could add a DS and a Fiat 130 saloon and a Ford Granada 2.8 Ghia X and an Opel Monza 3.0 to the list too.
