I like watching The Mentalist and in S03E07 Red Hot we get brief but nice shots of Patrick Jane's DS Anyone here watching the series?





Nostalgic. I used to have a 1971 DS21E, but now I only have the memory

A clever bit of casting; the car I mean. It really fits with the idiosyncratic charcter of Jane. His colleagues don't really "get" him.

Nearly every episode has had at least a glimpse of it through all 3 series. That episode did have better/lengthier shots than many though. I agree about the casting - it fits perfectly.

just heard theres a possibility of a new series even though the main storyline seems to have come to an end.

Really enjoyed the series, and the last 3 episodes were nicely tied together, although to me they felt rushed, like they had been told to wrap it up.

There were only about 13 XM sold in the USA but a company called CXM. They were never sold by Citroen.
